Komen Phoenix hosts Affiliate Events throughout the year, each organized and managed by our staff and dedicated committee members.

Komen National Events

National events are initiated through Komen Headquarters in Dallas. Komen Phoenix works closely with Headquarters, providing staff and volunteers to help carry out national events in Central and Northern Arizona.

 Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure®
Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure is a 60-mile walk for women and men who want to make a personal difference in the fight against breast cancer. Participants walk 60 miles in three days and help raise millions of dollars for breast cancer research and patient support programs. Each night of the event, walkers experience an incredible mobile city that's more than just sleeping tents and warm showers, where they can eat, relax and renew their spirit with their fellow walkers. Passionately Pink for the Cure™
You choose the date. You choose the outfit. You make the difference.
This exciting new program of Susan G. Komen for the Cure was inspired by the passion and creativity of its supporters. Passionately Pink for the Cure™ kicks off at the start of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Participants can pick any day in October, make a personal contribution of $5 or more to the Komen for the Cure, and wear pink to share the promise of finding a cure. National Series Presenting Sponsor of the Komen Race for the Cure^®
Yoplait sponsors the highly successful Save Lids to Save Lives^® program, which takes place throughout September and October each year.
