2008 Lighting the Way for the Cure^® 
Survivor and Co-Survivor Event
The 7th Annual Lighting the Way for the Cure event will be held in August, 2008. This festive event celebrates Survivors who have successfully battled breast cancer and their supportive Co-Survivors, while honoring those who have lost their lives to this disease. This is a high-profile kick-off event leading up to the Susan G. Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure.

Our Signature Breast Cancer Awareness and Fundraising Event
The 16th Annual Komen Phoenix Race will be held on October 12, 2008 in the State Capitol District. The determination and spirit of nearly 37,000 Race participants and spectators helped us raise over $1.9 million in 2007, making our event one of the top 10 in the Komen Race for the Cure Series and the largest 5K event in Arizona. 

2009 Fulfilling the Promise Luncheon
Annual Grants and Recognition Luncheon
The 14th Annual Fulfilling the Promise Luncheon brings together and celebrates our sponsors, donors, volunteers, grant recipients, and advocates. At this event we award our annual grants, recognize key volunteers, and extend appreciation to our valued supporters. Since 1993, the Komen Phoenix Affiliate has raised and granted over $13.4 million, with $3.2 million for breast cancer research, and $10.2 million for local education, screening and treatment programs. The Phoenix Affiliate is the largest private grantor of breast cancer funds in Arizona.
