Komen Phoenix 2009-2010 Grant Recipients
Since 1996, the Komen Phoenix Affiliate has distributed over $16 million to breast education, screening and treatment in Arizona as well as to the Komen Headquarters Research Grant Program. Through the Affiliate’s year-round fund raising efforts, along with our hundreds of dedicated volunteers, the Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure® participants, sponsors and friends, we are making a difference to end breast cancer forever.
This year the Phoenix Affiliate granted over $2.6 million. $2.1 million was granted to 33 organizations and over $550,000 was funded to the Komen Research Grant Program.
