Team Captain Meetings

In case you missed our three Team Captain meetings in June, we are offering two additional Team Informational meetings for Team Captains and potential Team Captains.  If you are interested in forming a Team or have questions about registering a Team - this is the meeting for you!

Team Fees and Deadlines

Team Registration Deadline:  Online - September 17, 2008, 11:59 PM
                                                        Paper - Postmarked by September 17, 2008

                                                                        Phoenix, AZ 85038-9607

Team Qualifications:  Only those teams with 10 or more registered participants by 
September 17, 2008 will be eligible for Team Awards and Incentives. Individuals who miss the Team registration deadline, can still register as an individual and join their Team on Race Day.

Event Categories:  Teams can either register for one event for the entire team, or have their team members choose their own event independently. All events are non-competitive. Finish times will be displayed on digital clocks.
Events include:    1 Mile Walk/Run
                                Breast Cancer Survivor's 5K Run
                                5K Run
                                5K Walk
                                Sleep In for the Cure®
                                   
Registration Fees:  Breast Cancer Survivors (all ages) - $20
                                    Kids for the Cure (ages 12 and under) - $15
                                    Adults (ages 13+) - $25

Award Categories: Team Awards will be presented on Race Day. Teams must meet the above qualifications to be eligible for awards. Awards will be given in the following categories:
                           Largest Team (by size)
                           Largest Sleep in for the Cure Team (by size)
                           Top Fundraising Team (total amount raised)
                           Highest Team Pledge Average
                           Best Spirit/Most Creative Team (as shown on Race Day)

Team Packet Pick-Up: Team Packets (team member's Race bibs and t-shirts) will be
pre-packaged for pick-up allowing for only one pick-up per Team. In other words Team Packets must be picked up in their entirety by a Team representative. Team Packets will remain pre-packaged thru Race Day so team members will not be able to pick-up their bib and t-shirt individually. Teams with 250 or more members can elect to have their packets delivered to one Team Captain designated location.

         Saturday, October 4th:  10:00am - 4:00pm
