Step Up and Deliver Our Promise!

This year’s theme is “Step Up and Deliver Our Promise,” a reminder to participants that the Race allows the Komen Phoenix Affiliate to remain committed to ending breast cancer throughout central and northern Arizona year round. Join more than 30,000 participants and run or walk the 1 mile or 5K route or even Sleep In for the Cure® as we celebrate 19 years of Delivering Our Promise in central and northern Arizona!

You can join Komen’s Step Up Challenge by:
1.  Registering for the Race online.
2.  Joining Komen’s Pledge Program and committing to raise even more toward the cure, while earning exciting incentives along the way.
3.  Being one of the top 200 fundraisers and earning a VIP Race experience!

Race Day Schedule
6:00am – Race Site Opens: Registration, Teams Area, Community Village, Corporate Village
6:30am    Survivor Parade Line-Up
6:45am – Survivors' Celebration and Parade
    Post-Parade: Kids Area and Survivor & Co-Survivor Area, including Pink Hat Café, open
7:15am – 1 Mile Walk/Run
8:05am – Breast Cancer Survivors 5K Run
8:20am – 5K Run
8:40am – 5K Walk
10:00am – Race Awards Announced
All events are non-competitive. Times will be displayed on digital clocks at the finish line.

Race Day Safety
This event will occur rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure®.

Safety is our top priority!
Strollers: Baby strollers/joggers can be used at the Race. For everyone's safety, we ask that those with strollers line-up at the back of the crowd.
Race Bibs: Please pin your bib number to the front of your shirt.
Pets: For the safety of all, animals/pets are not allowed at the Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure. Please leave your pets at home.
Rollerblades/Bikes/Skateboards: For the safety of all participants, rollerblades/inline skates, bikes and skateboards are not allowed in this event.
Firearms: Firearms are not permitted at the Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure.
