What is new for 2012?
The 20th Anniversary Race theme, “Together, We Promise...” reminds the community that nothing is accomplished alone. We need the community’s continued support in order to fulfill our promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever. Together, we have accomplished so many things leading up to this special anniversary and together, we want to make this year’s Race the most impactful one yet!
"Together, we promise…"
...We celebrate.
...We deliver change.
...We find answers.
...We innovate.

19th Annual Race for the Cure: October 9, 2011 - Thank you for Stepping Up to Help Deliver Our Promise!
Whether you walked, ran, donated, volunteered or stayed snug under the covers, if you were one of the more than 25,000 participants who made the 2011 Susan G. Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure® a success, we THANK YOU! The 19th annual event raised nearly $1.8 million!
The Komen Phoenix Affiliate has raised and granted more than $20 million total since the first Race in 1993. This year’s theme, “Step Up and Deliver Our Promise,” served as a reminder to participants that the Race is much more than a one-day event. This year's contributions will allow Komen Phoenix to continue to provide lifesaving services to our central and northern Arizona communities for the year to come.
