Junior League of Phoenix
Rummage Sale Event
Founded in 1935, the Junior League of Phoenix (JLP) is dedicated to providing volunteer service and funding to impact families and individuals in the Phoenix Metro area. By developing the potential of their members as trained volunteers, they improve our community and promote volunteerism.
Working in conjunction with Mobile Onsite Mammography, the Komen grant allows the JLP to provide mammograms to uninsured or underinsured women at the JLP’s Annual Rummage Sale, one of the organization’s largest fundraising events. Since receiving their first Komen grant in 2000, the JLP has been able to provide more than 450 free mammograms. The next Rummage Sale is scheduled for February, 2012 at the Arizona State Fairgrounds.
