The Komen Phoenix Affiliate is looking for skilled individuals who will work as active members of the Affiliate Team in achieving the Komen Promise of ending breast cancer forever. Positions are listed below and require specific experience and qualifications.
Community Health and Mission Programs Director - Full Time Exempt. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Affiliate’s mission programming, including grant making, community outreach, education programs and public policy initiatives. This position requires an ability to build strong relationships with community organizations, volunteers, colleagues, public policy makers, other funders and the health care community. In addition, this positions leads the Affiliate’s staff and volunteer resources to implement educational outreach, inclusion efforts, the community needs assessment and other special initiatives, thus driving the Affiliate’s efforts to close the gaps as identified in the Komen Phoenix Community Profile. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Masters Degree in Public Health
At least 5 years grants management experience
At least 5 years experience in program development and implementation within the healthcare milieu
Non-Profit Experience preferred
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
Valid driver's license and access to transportation
Candidate will also possess:
Grants and Community Resource Manager - Full time exempt. Under the supervision of the Community Health and Mission Programs Director, the Grants and Community Resource Manager provides day to day management and assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Phoenix Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure grants programs. Additionally this position is responsible for developing evaluation systems and processes to produce appropriate evaluation outcomes for all related programs and activities, and acting as the first point of contact for those in need of information and resources. Masters Degree in Public Health preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in public health, psychology, sociology or a related field with experience in community health will be considered
Grants management experience preferred
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
